How BLF handles your information.

What we collect

Contact form: your name, email address, optional phone number, organization, reason for writing and message. These details are sent by email to BLF so the team can respond to you.

Child sponsorship reservations: your name and email address, used to hold your chosen child for 24 hours and to match your recurring gift when BLF staff verify it. A reservation is a hold, not a completed sponsorship.

Updates from Zambia signup: your email address only, stored privately so BLF can send you updates about the work in Zone 12.

What we never collect on this site

This website does not collect or store card numbers, bank details or any other payment information. All donations are made on Tithe.ly's secure giving form, and payment details are handled by Tithe.ly under its own privacy policy.

Donor names, email addresses and giving details are never shown publicly. The public sponsorship gallery shows only a child's first name, age, photo and short introduction.

Who can see your information

Contact messages, sponsorship reservations, child records and the updates list are visible only to authorized BLF staff accounts. Public visitors cannot read any of this information.

Third-party services on this site

Giving is handled by Tithe.ly. Videos are embedded from Vimeo. Maps are embedded from OpenStreetMap. Type is served by Google Fonts. When you use these features, those services may receive technical information such as your IP address under their own privacy policies.

Your choices

You can ask BLF to correct or remove your contact details, a sponsorship reservation or your updates signup at any time by emailing info@blfzambia.org.
